It does not recognize text 1/2 of the time when the text is on a color paper. The ad is deceitful...it does not come with a battery--if you want one, you must purchase it separately. If not, all paper paced in the feeder slot will pass through the printer. Otherwise, quality of print is good and the size is ideal for traveling on long distance via plane. It fits in my computer bag along with my MacBook and my IPad. Gone are my days on the road scrambling looking for a printing center or finding the business center printer in my hotel is not working.
